Date: 7th April 2025 (Monday) Morning. A tragic road accident occurred in Anamaya District, Andhra Pradesh, as a result the life of Deputy Collector Rama, who was traveling to the district headquarters. Four other individuals were injured, raising serious concerns about road safety.

The incident involved Special Deputy Collector Rama, who was assigned to the Handari Niva Sujala Sravathi project. She was responsible for handling grievances every Monday at the District Headquarters in Rayachoti.
On Monday morning, she left for the district headquarters to attend the grievance cell. However, before reaching her destination, she met with a fatal road accident while traveling from Pileru to Rayachoti. Her car collided with an oncoming vehicle near Erreguntla in Sambreppalli Mandal. Rama died on the spot, and four other individuals were seriously injured.
The police arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the news. Rama’s body was shifted to the government hospital for post-mortem, and the injured were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The tragic death of this dedicated woman officer occurred while she was on duty, attending to the weekly grievance session in Rayachoti.
