A fatal road accident occurred on the morning of 15th May 2025 (Thursday) near Sandila, in Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh, involving a head-on collision between the Auto-rickshaw and Truck. The impact caused the auto-rickshaw to overturn, killing six passengers on the spot and seriously injuring of three others.
Ten people were traveling in the auto-rickshaw from Kasimpur to Sandila when it collided with the truck coming from the opposite direction. After the incident, the truck driver fled the accident spot.
Police arrived shortly after receiving the message from the locality, sent the deceased for postmortem and the injured person for medical treatment, and registered a case. The incident is currently under investigation.
