A devastating road accident occurred on the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway near Bas Village, Haryana, on April 26th Saturday Morning,. As a result Six road sanitation workers lost their lives, and five others sustained serious injuries while performing routine road maintenance on the Expressway.
The accident took place around 10:00 AM ,Saturday morning . The workers were engaged in daily expressway maintenance when a pickup van, en route from Delhi to Haryana, collided with them. The impact was severe, resulting in the immediate death of six workers and injuries to five others.
After the incident, the driver fled from the accident spot. Upon receiving the message, police arrived at the incident spot, sent the deceased for post-mortem, and transported the injured to a hospital for treatment, the vehicle has been seized, A case has been registered an dunder investigation

- Five workers are currently hospitalized.
- The deceased include both skilled and unskilled regular workers.
