On 8th April 2025, a tragic road accident occurred near Baishali, Bihar, As a result the bride’s gown turned into a funeral along with three other passengers. The accident took place when the bride, after completing her marriage rituals, was traveling to her groom’s home along with other relatives in a car. The vehicle was hit by a truck, causing the bride’s death and injuring the groom and other passengers.
Details of the Incident:
The bride had just completed her marriage ceremony the previous night. After the rituals, she was being taken to her in laws’ home (Sauasral) as per Hindu marriage customs. While returning in a Dezire car along with seven other members, including a child at Jahanda (near Hazipur Thana), their car collided with a truck, and the result death of four people, including the newly marriage bride. The groom was severely injured and hospitalized.
After the incident, the truck driver fled from the accident spot. The police are actively searching for the driver, and the truck has been seized for investigation. The case is currently under review.
