On the morning of Sunday, 13th April, a devastating road accident occurred around 8:00 AM in the Jambar Marg area, Jaipur, under the jurisdiction of the Raipur Police Station. The accident involved a car and a trailer, resulting in the death of five members of the same family, including a six-month-old baby.
Victims:
- Grandfather
- Mother
- Son (Father)
- Daughter-in-law (Mother)
- 6-month-old baby girl
All five died on the spot. The family, originally from Uttar Pradesh, was en route to visit the Khatu Shyam Ji Temple in Sikar district, a journey they regularly undertook.
Incident Details:
- The car collided head-on with a trailer.
- The impact was so severe that the trailer fell into a 20-foot trench, and the driver sustained serious injuries.
- Locals and police arrived promptly, extracting the bodies from the car and the injured trailer driver with great difficulty.
- The trailer driver was rescued and rushed to NIMS Hospital, where he is currently battling for his life.
