On April 2, 2025, a major road accident occurred on the Khambgaon-Shegaon National Highway (Maharashtra), resulting in six deaths and more than a dozen injuries.
The accident involved three vehicles:
- Bolero
- ST Bus (State Transport)
- Private Bus
Police, rescue teams, and quick action teams actively participate in rescue and relief operations.
This severe accident happened around 5:30 AM (early morning) on the Khambgaon-Shegaon National Highway.
Bolero traveling from Shegaon to Kolhapur crashed into an ST Bus, which was heading from Pune to Patwada.Another private bus, coming from behind, failed to react in time and collided with the other two vehicles.
As a result the deaths of six people and injuries to 17 others.Out of the 17 injured, five people sustained severe injuries and conditions is crictical.
