A tragic road accident occurred near Bhabua, Kaimur district (Bihar), when a Scorpio SUV and a motorcycle collided head-on. The impact claimed the lives of four individuals.
Four people were traveling on a (single) bike from Bhabua to their village near the Parasia petrol pump. The Scorpio, coming from the opposite direction (towards Mohania), crashed into the bike in front-on collision. Two people died on the spot, while the other two succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.
Eyewitnesses near Bhabua reported that the Scorpio driver fled the scene immediately after the crash. Nearby villagers informed to the local police, who arrived promptly, sent the deceased for post-mortem, and transported the injured to Sadar Hospital. Sadly, both injured individuals later passed away due to the severity of their injuries.
A case has been registered, and the incident is under investigation.
