A fatal road accident in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, claimed the lives of six individuals, including five second-year MBBS students from Narayana Medical College and A 65 year old local resident. The horrifying incident occurred around 2:30 PM near Pothireddypalem village in Kovur Mandal, leaving a trail of devastation and grief.

The group of MBBS students was returning from a friend’s sister’s engagement ceremony when their car lost control on the Mumbai National Highway. The vehicle veered off the road, collided with a roadside mound, and crashed into a petty shop, resulting in extensive damage.
The impact was so severe that five students and a 65-year-old local man died on the spot. One MBBS student is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Nellore.
