A tragic road accident occurred on Kanakapura Road when a KSRTC bus lost control while turning, rammed into multiple bikes including one ridden by a police sub inspector, and fell into a roadside drain. The incident took place near Ramanagara, with the bus heading towards Bengaluru at the time.
A Karnataka Sub-Inspector died on the spot, while three others sustained injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals. Fortunately, passengers on the bus reported minor injuries. Local residents and bystanders quickly rushed to the scene to assist the injured.
A case has been registered, and the accident is under investigation.
