
SAMBALPUR – A 29-year-old delivery executive lost his life on Thursday morning following a tragic road accident at Maneswar Chhak, situated within the jurisdiction of the Sadar police station.
The victim has been identified as Prakash Bag, a resident of the Danibandh area.
Incident Details
According to police reports, the fatality occurred at approximately 11:00 AM while Bag was in transit from Sambalpur to Maneswar to fulfill an online customer order. The accident was triggered when Bag’s vehicle collided with a heavy truck that was reportedly parked illegally on the highway.
The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in Bag’s death at the scene.
Investigation and Legal Action
Upon being alerted to the crash, local police officials arrived at the site to secure the area and recover the deceased. The body has since been transported to a local hospital for a post-mortem examination.
