Incident Details –

According to a police statement and a report by the Hindustan Times (source), a multi-axle dumper, loaded with tons of construction material, was traveling from Akhire Chowk to Barkhal Chowk when it violated traffic rules and crashed into a car carrying a couple, a school bus, and two other vehicles at the intersection around 6:00 AM on Wednesday.DriveSafe

The driver, a helper, and two women were inside the school bus as it was en route to pick up students.

Casualties & Aftermath

The woman in the car died on the spot, while several passengers in the bus and car suffered injuries.

The truck driver fled the scene after the crash.
